In the current article, the effect of absorber layer thickness on various solar cell parameters such as open circuit voltage, short circuit current, fill factor and solar cell efficiency has been studied using the Scaps-1D software.It is found that above a certain thickness all the parameters are found to be increased on increasing the absorber layer (CdTe) thickness.
