Kondisi Habitat dan Kualitas Madu Lebah Tanpa Sengat Kampung Rimba Jaya Kabupaten Biak Numfor

The aim of the research was to determine types habitat and honey bees that are cultivated by the community, to see the habitat and availability of feed in nature, the process of honey bee cultivation by the community, and to determine the quality of the honey bee product. The stingless honey beekeepers of Trigona sp (beyinem) found in Rimba Jaya Village, East Biak District have maintained and harvested these honeybee nests by letting them nest in logs or moving them to a wooden box, as this will facilitate harvesting and controlling beyinem honeybee hives. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the protein content of honey ranges from 1.14 to 1.23%.
