The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (Rcep) Agreement and Its Implications on Trade Between Eu-27 and Rcep-15

This paper investigated the impact of the RCEP on trade between RCEP-15 and EU-27. The static framework has been used. The empirical evidence is based on the Random Effect estimation and the models shows that while economic growth in RCEP-15 may reduce trade with EU-27, the RCEP negotiations does not have the same effect. The results show that the RCEP negotiations has resulted in an increase in trade between RCEP-15 and EU-27. The interactive term between the RCEP and GDP shows that together these two variables still lead to an increase in trade between RECP-15 and EU-27.
