Farewell John Wrightson DPhil MA FRCP

Respirology Case Reports regrets the passing of Dr John Wrightson in May 2024. John joined our Journal's Editorial Board as Associate Editor when we first launched the Journal in 2013. He was a respiratory consultant and the Clinical Lead of the Oxford Pleural Unit, UK and Head of School of Medicine for NHS England, Thames Valley. He was extremely diligent as an Associate Editor, always responding in a timely and friendly manner to our communications and was a great supporter of the Journal. He adjudicated 55 manuscripts and always provided helpful and thorough feed-back to the authors. He was a pleasure for work with and he will be sadly missed by all members of the Editorial staff.
