Introduction With efficient co-management of NCDs with primary healthcare doctors and other specialists, the OHS (Occupational Health Services) can serve as a gatekeeper for NCD screening at an earlier stage. This is not just for younger persons, for example, at the pre-employment stage, but also for older employee who are not concerned about their health status unless warranted by their employers through mandatory health screenings. Methods For this systematic review on the NCD risk factors in doctors in India, national or state-level (subnational) surveys, which collected volunteered information on Blood Pressure, HBA1C, irrespective of the period of data collection or reporting or the sample size, were searched for and evaluated, between February to July 2022. STUDY DESIGN: Cross Sectional community-based study. Results The prevalence of confirmed HTN was high around 57.5% in 35 to 40 years of age group, while for DM-2 it was around 52.5 % in the same age group of population which is alarmingly high. Followed by 31 to 35 age group HTN & DM-2 was 29.26 % & 36.58 % respectively. Discussion and conclusion As the awareness of the hypertension status among DM-2 & hypertensive cases were good (All Medicos), by avoiding self-health ignorance to increase the awareness of DM-2 & hypertension is also the need of the hour. Interventions like weight management, increased physical activity, increased fruits and vegetables consumption, and reduction in junk food & fast foods use are required and recommended.
