Ss38-02 Training, Authorization, and Certification Programmes: Promoting Osh in the Cement Sector

Abstract Introduction All subcontractors’ employees, before working on behalf of cement manufacturers, follow an accreditation and authorization process which integrates several training courses, awareness-raising and assessments ensuring their ability to carry out risky tasks. Materials and Methods Employees have passports tracking all history of assessments, training and recorded behaviors. This passport also monitors employee training and behavior refresher training. Results and Conclusions Subcontractors’ employees have evolved in their understanding of risk in the same way as own employees and actively participate in initiatives and the promotion of health and safety at work.
