Materials and Methods This part of the session will introduce other areas of focus for ISO/TC 283, highlighting the extensive international participation including from developing countries and the opportunities to further extend this involvement. It will also introduce the work of Task Groups, which are undertaking work which supports the development of ISO/TC 283’s standards, or in some cases to undertake preliminary work for new standards. For example, two current areas of focus are OH&S impacts of climate change and the challenges of OH&S management in small organizations. Results This part of the session will include an overview of the committee’s work, and an opportunity for questions from the audience. Conclusion Participants will gain an understanding of the wide participation in ISO/TC 283 and the various work it undertakes to address the global challenges of OH&S.
