Abstract Morocco, a country in full construction, is experiencing significant industrial development in the cement sector. Occupational risks in this industry are numerous and diverse. We have chosen a cement plant in the Oriental region of Morocco as an example to demonstrate, through the continuous improvement of occupational injuries in this industrial unit over three decades, the importance of health and safety management. This is achieved through recognized management frameworks and the involvement of occupational medicine in this management.
