To improve the smoothness of the vibration during the driving process of the mine personnel carrier, a simulation design study was carried out on the structure and vibration characteristics of the whole chassis system. First of all, through the vibration isolation test of the whole vehicle idling conditions suspension system, we clarify whether the vibration isolation effect is poor and determine the chassis suspension system design scheme. Secondly, the whole vehicle vibration model is used to describe the actual vibration characteristics of the mine personnel carrier, to clarify the correlation between the body center of mass vertical acceleration and suspension stiffness and damping, road excitation, and the center of mass position and other parameters, and to effectively obtain the vibration characteristics of the compartment and the smoothness of the whole vehicle through the simulation analysis of the center of mass acceleration. Finally, based on a reasonable configuration of the system’s inherent frequency and decoupling rate, optimizing the suspension stiffness as a variable and the decoupling rate as a target can effectively improve the vibration isolation performance of the suspension system. The design and simulation of the vibration characteristics of the chassis system for the optimization of the suspension system provides a design idea for the vibration isolation system of the compartment assembly of future mining engineering vehicles.
