In the realms of photovoltaic power generation and fuel cells, the application of traditional DC-DC boost converters faces significant constraints due to insufficient gain and pronounced input current ripple. This paper presents a design for a Cuk converter with low input current ripple and high voltage gain based on the conventional Cuk topology. The design incorporates a passive ripple circuit and a coat circuit. The operational principles of the converter are analyzed, followed by the construction of a simulation model in PSIM. Simulation results not only validate the theoretical analysis but also affirm the feasibility of the proposed converter.
