Textile-reinforced concrete (TRC) composite is increasingly and widely used in infrastructure engineering to reinforce or strengthen existing reinforced concrete (RC) structures that decrease their mechanical performance or have cracked during their lives. Thanks to the cementitious matrix, which has stability with elevated temperature, the TRC composite presents a remarkable reinforcement efficiency better than fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) when reinforcing or strengthening RC members in case of fire. This paper presents the results of a model that was calculated to evaluate the reinforcement efficiency of textile-reinforced concrete composite on reinforced concrete members under fire conditions. Firstly, a model was built to predict the decrease in mechanical capacity of RC members under fire according to the ISO-834 standard. After that, the fire performance of the RC members could be compared in both cases with and without the strengthening of the TRC composite. So, the reinforcement efficiency of the TRC composite was evaluated and analyzed. Finally, the model was used to evaluate the fire performance of the RC structure of a tunnel in Vietnam.
