Purpose: PBL contracts, which are divided into supply and maintenance, adapt to advanced and complex modern weapons. These contracts increasingly include both supply and maintenance owing to the military's evolving maintenance requirements.BRMethods: We aim to identify suitable performance metrics for different PBL contracts. This includes evaluating the OO system's effectiveness through an RAM-C analysis, PBL cost calculations, and simulations.BRResults: PBL contracts use performance metrics to define terms between the military and developers. These metrics, which are linked to the budget, help determine the contract amount. Performance targets specify the military's requirements.BRConclusion: In PBL projects, metrics are selected based on specific roles and responsibilities. For supply PBLs, the timely delivery of repair parts by contractors is a key indicator. The military, which is responsible for maintenance, ensures that all other requirements are satisfied, enabling a fixed-value analysis in RAM-C and PBL cost calculations.
