The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of using folklore as a storytelling method on the empathy behavior of children in Group B kindergarten. The study uses quantitative methods, specifically the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design technique, involving Group B Harapan Gandok Bopkri Kricak Kindergarten. The sample consists each of 10 childrens in the experimental group and in the control group, selected using total sampling strategy. This study analyzed the data on behavioral empathy gathered through observation using the Wilcoxon Mann-Whitney tests. The results showed that the pretest score for the experimental class was 15,50. After the treatment, the score increased to 28,70. In comparison, the control class had a pretest score of 16.10 and a posttest score of 16,90. The Wilcoxon test yielded a score of Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) = 0.005. The hypotheses test conducted resulted in a significant score of 0.005, which means that Ho is rejected (p 0.05). This study's conclusion can help other schools helped the problems that students going through.
