Purpose: This study sought to find out through the experiences of teachers how ‘restorative life education’, which aims to restore the school community to create a peaceful and healthy community in situations of school violence and school conflict, is being implemented. Method: In this study, interviews were conducted with nine research participants about the experiences teachers had while practicing restorative life education. Results: Through the practice of restorative life education, teachers were increasing members' sensitivity to large and small conflicts occurring within the school community and their will for peaceful resolution. In addition, not only students but also parents and teachers found this experience to be educationally meaningful. Conclusion: In order for restorative life education to become established in schools, it is necessary to cultivate camaraderie among all school community members and build financial and human infrastructure and systems.
