Design And Fabrication Of Portable Tensile Testing Machine For Polymers.

The research project aimed at designing and building a portable tensile testing apparatus for determining the tensile characteristics of polymer grade tensile specimens is presented in this project document. Additionally, it hides the rationale behind the usage of tensile testing machines, which are a substitute for the large-scale machine designs and construction that are currently in use.The tensile test is one of the methods used to evaluate the mechanical characteristics of polymers. Its primary objective is to determine the tensile strength and the maximum amount of material that can be stretched before breaking. The design and fabrication of the tensile testing machine are the two primary components of this project. SOLID EDGE is the software used to create the design. The design is then fabricated and the results of the machine is obtained accordingly.
