This study explores design methodologies for interactive media in intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and addresses various issues arising from the rapid development of digital media technologies. The research first analyzes the harmonious characteristics between intangible cultural heritage exhibition design and interactive media technologies, and evaluates the application status of interactive media in various types of intangible cultural heritage exhibitions. The study focuses on three main themes: exploring nonlinear layouts and participation, innovative interactions between digital media and physical mediums, and building comprehensive exhibition platforms. The findings reveal that first, there is a distinct harmony between intangible cultural heritage exhibition design and interactive media technologies; second, the rational use of interactive media technology significantly enhances visitor engagement and experience; and lastly, comprehensive exhibition platforms require continuous adjustment of structure, remediation of flaws, and sustenance of innovation in intangible cultural heritage exhibition design.
