Two surveys were conducted from May to September 2022 to analyze the functional feeding groups and community stability of benthic macroinvertebrates at 17 sites in the water system of Muduengsan National Park. Benthic macroinvertebrates belonging to 154 taxa, 71 families, 18 orders, seven classes, and five phyla were found. Community analysis showed an average dominance index of 0.56, a diversity index of 2.97, a richness index of 3.00, and an evenness index of 0.68. In the analysis of functional feeding groups, predators (P) had the highest abundance with 47 species (31.13%) owing to the appearance of Plecoptera and Odonata. In the analysis of functional habitat groups, clinger (CL) had the highest abundance at all survey sites with 66 species (43.42%). Community stability analysis showed that Group I, which included species with high relative resistance and resilience, comprised a high proportion (average of 53.7%). The BMI analysis showed “very good” (Class A) stream status at all survey sites.
