The aim of this article is to analyse and assess the socio-economic situation of Ukrainian mothers in Poland. It deals with the presentation of the housing situation, difficulties in finding a decent job for highly educated women, deficiencies in universal access to Polish language learning, unequal opportunities in the process of education and care for the young generation and health care. Consequently, the recommendations formulated become challenges for national social policy.
