Concept and Implementation of an Alternative Methodology for National Competitiveness Assessing

The article presents the results of applying the authors methodology for assessing national competitiveness, based on an analysis of the effectiveness of macroeconomic systems in the operation of nine main growth factors in relation to ninety-one states in the period from 2003 to 2021. The obtained results demonstrate certain discrepancies with international ratings of national competitiveness; however, they reflect the author’s concept of its assessment, which implies the effectiveness of the marketization of natural, human and financial capital by macroeconomic systems, and not its infrastructural and institutional quality.
