The differences in casting solvents have a significant influence on the microphase-separated structures. We synthesized ABC/ACB-type linear triblock copolymers composed of polystyrene and polymethacrylate. To reveal the effects of casting solvents, we utilized tetrahydrofuran (THF) and chloroform. Regarding the swelling ratio of block segments, PS swelled the most when THF was used as the casting solvent. However, PS swelled the least when chloroform was used. Before thermal annealing of the bulk samples, a gyroid structure was obtained only with THF, while a lamellar structure was obtained only with chloroform.
