Lithium metal anode (LMA) has been used as a promising anode material for designing high-energy-density lithium metal batteries (LMBs). However, the traditional plain Li foil anode will cause Li dendrite growth owing to the lithium-ion nonuniform deposition. Here, the dual conducting ion-electron channel composite lithium powder anode (CLPA) was designed, which is composed of rGO@LLZTO (rGO: reduced graphene oxide, LLZTO: Li6.75La3Zr1.75Ta0.25O12) and lithium powder (rGO@LLZTO@Li CLPA). The prepared rGO@LLZTO@Li CLPA can guide uniform Li nucleation for inhibiting Li dendrite growth. Moreover, the Li//Li symmetric cells or Li//Cu asymmetric cells assembled with the rGO@LLZTO@Li CLPA exhibit superior electrochemical performance. Furthermore, the Li//LiFePO4 or Li//LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 asymmetric cells also demonstrate an improved cycling stability and rate property, presenting its great potential application as LMA for next-generation LMBs.
