The impact of high temperatures on structures with special emphasis to hot and arid areas. This made the study adopt the descriptive analytical research approach; the study ensured that scientific data from the scholarly papers on thermal dynamics was carefully sought, harvested and incorporated into the study diligently. It, however, brings light to the fact that architects are unaware of the thermal consequent on the aspects of architectural style and construction such as the material to be used for the walls, the type of finish to be applied on the building envelope, the direction in which the building should be aligned and the integration of the landscape with the building structure. The rationale of the study is to identify measures that can be taken in order to reduce heat load with a view to keeping convenience of occupants in climates due to either direct sun exposure or reflected glory by preventing heat conduction, convection, and radiation through structures in buildings. In doing so, this paper offers a case analysis of ARRC to produce a thorough evaluation of compound design of space organization, and built-in material. The findings underscore the importance in correct positioning particularly of a building, the implementation and nature of sun shading device and use of insulation in minimizing heat which finds its way in to an architectural structure.
