Over the past two decades, modern robot-assisted surgery systems have evolved successfully, offering sig- nificant benefits to both patients and surgeons. Never- theless, utilizing these systems for surgical training or as platforms for further research and development poses challenges such as high costs and spatial constraints. To address this issue, solutions such as VR surgical training can be utilized, enabling surgeons to manipulate surgical tools in virtual surgery based on the 7 degrees of freedom (DoF) [1]. Additionally, remote-operable open platforms like DVRK and RAVEN II can be employed [2][3]. In this paper, we present an affordable, compact, and open-source platform designed for a surgical train- ing system aimed at acquiring manipulative skills. Fur- thermore, it could potentially function as a framework for experimentally validating emerging technologies.
