Currently, an important issue is to increase the efficiency of perovskite solar cells. Methods of interfacial molecular design using graphite-like carbon nitride are being developed to solve this problem. The article discusses the main methods of synthesis of this material in bulk form and in the form of thin films, as well as exfoliation methods for producing two-dimensional layers. Direct thermal polycondensation is the simple method for producing bulk materials in a nanostructured form. Thin films can be produced using various versions of chemical vapor deposition. In this case, the thickness and uniformity of the film can be controlled by changing the amount of precursor, the distance between the precursor and the substrate, the type of substrate and other factors. For the synthesis of individual two-dimensional layers from pre-synthesized bulk g-C3N4, exfoliation is used when the material is placed in various solvents under the influence of ultrasound.
