In order to retrieve sea water transparency in China's offshore waters from satellite remote sensing and realize large-scale measurements in time and space, a remote sensing inversion model of sea water transparency was established based on semi-analytical algorithm. According to the sea water transparency model, using Aqua-MODIS and Terra-MODIS satellite's daily grid remote sensing reflectance Rrs data. The data are pre-processed, and the quality control of remote sensing reflectance data and the cross-calibration of Aqua and Terra satellite data are completed. According to QAA semi-analysis algorithm and Doron algorithm, the study of sea water transparency parameters is completed, and the sea water transparency model is established, and the specific sea is made. The transparency products of sea water in this area are compared with the measured values of sea water. The model input remote sensing reflectance data of 443, 488, 555 and 667nm bands, and data level is L3m. The spatial resolution is 4km. The relative error between the inversion data and the measured data of sea water transparency is 21.6%. The results show that the inversion technology of sea water transparency based on semi-analytical algorithm is feasible, which provides important support for data verification and the measurement research of underwater sea water transparency measurement device.
