Now a days, we often rely on GPS for Navigations.Every Smartphone today has inbuilt GPS but the Navigation is not always accurate.Hence we bring the cheaper version for Vehicle Tracking System using Microcontroller and GPS.In this Paper, we will discuss about the Construction, Working and Testing of the GPS based Identification System.Through the help of Satellites, the GPS Module receives the Coordinates (Latitudes and Longitudes), then, the microcontroller processes the data and further sends it to the GSM Modem. Then the GSM modem sends it to the Owner through his Smartphone. The integration of Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with microcontrollers has opened up a myriad of possibilities in various applications, including identification systems. This abstract presents the design and implementation of a GPS-based identification system using a microcontroller. The proposed system utilizes GPS modules to accurately determine the geographical location of an object or individual in real-time.The microcontroller, acting as the central processing unit, interfaces with the GPS module to receive location data.In this system, each object or individual is assigned a unique identification code. The microcontroller compares the received GPS coordinates with pre-defined coordinates associated with each identification code.Upon a match, the system triggers an identification event, which can be customized based on the application requirements. The proposed GPS-based identification system finds applications in various fields, including asset tracking, vehicle monitoring, personnel management, and security systems. Its reliability, accuracy, and real-time functionality make it a valuable solution for organizations seeking efficient and effective identification systems.
