Transformation Processes in the Socio-Economic Sphere: Territorial Features

The article examines scientific approaches to understanding the definition of "transformation" and gives a description of the transformation process in the socio-economic sphere. The nature and necessity of the transformation process is summarized. The main regularities of the transformation period of the country's economy are characterized. The purpose and directions of transformational processes at the regional level are determined. Today the situation is such that some municipal entities have received a certain economic development thanks to various reforms, while others, on the contrary, have become depressed, economically backward. At the same time, some are able to provide their own development independently, while others exist only at the expense of state budget funds, they need significant support not only for economic development, but also for maintaining a network of health, educational, cultural, and social sphere institutions. As a result of the differentiation of the regional economy and the social sphere, there are differences in the main indicators of the standard of living of people in different municipal entities. One of the specific directions of the transformation of the life activity of some territories was considered, in particular, in the identification and stimulation of the creation of specific forms of organization of economic activity - agribusiness ecosystems, which represent a complete system that can develop by itself, and within which a specific institutional environment favorable for the development of small agribusiness and ensuring economic growth and stability, through Resolution of the CMU of April 14, 2021 No. 408 "On the approval of the State program for the development of cross-border cooperation for 2021-2027". Thus, in order to achieve the goals of sustainable economic growth of the country as a whole, it is necessary to ensure the conditions for the development of each territory in terms of identifying and forming points of growth of territorial formations. Priorities of regional development are based on a set of management measures, which include the mechanism of state and regional policy; management technologies of forecasting and planning; modern standards of social and economic life of society.
