Using rhodamine 6G, hydrazine hydrate, and 9-anthracene as raw materials, a ratio-based fluorescent probe compound RHA based on rhodamine-anthralaldehyde derivatives was successfully synthesized. The structure of the probe compound was characterized by ¹H NMR. The selectivity, anti-interference, detection limit and response time of the probe compound to metal ions were studied by fluorescence spectroscopy and colorimetry. The results show that the probe compound can selectively recognize Hg²⁺, its color change can be seen with the naked eye, and has certain anti-interference. The detection limit is 5.27×10⁻⁶ mol·L⁻¹. In addition, the response of the probe compound to Hg²⁺ is also very fast, and it can react completely in 90 minutes.
