Closed-loop interferometric fiber optic gyroscopes (IFOGs) with large length and diameter offer low noise and drift performance but require careful consideration of fringe visibility changes across multiple fringes. This paper analyzes the impacts of spectral asymmetry and modulation phase deviation. A model addressing these impacts is proposed and experimentally validated, demonstrating effective scale factor compensation. The findings are crucial for extending the application range of high-performance closed-loop IFOGs.
