The mononuclear palladium(II) complexes [Pd{PhAs(2-SC6H4)2-κ3S,S',As}L] (L = PnBu3 (1), PMe2Ph (2)) and [Pd{(Tipp)P(2-SC6H4)2-κ3S,S',P}(PMe2Ph)] (Tipp = 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl) (3) bearing tridentate S,E,S (E = As or P) pincer ligands have been prepared and structurally characterised, complexes 1 and 3 also by X-ray diffraction.
