The Cover Feature shows a catalytic system, represented by a train on a railway track, specially designed for mediating the oxidative aminocarbonylation of amines and alkynes to afford propiolamides. The nanocatalyst is composed of palladium nanoparticles supported on a partially dehydrated and dehydroxylated LDH matrix, and is able to activate poorly nucleophilic aromatic amines to afford N-arylpropiolamides for the first time.
