The article describes the online course of lectures Systemic, Discursive and Cognitive Aspects of Word-formation and Morphological Derivation in Russian Language, held in accordance with the Program of Cooperation between Lomonosov Moscow State University and Donetsk State University. It was held in September 2022 - May 2023 by the Russian Language Departments of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Donetsk State University for students from the two universities. The prehistory and motives of the creation of the lecture course , a chronicle of its implementation with a description of the subjects of the lectures and linguistic problems are presented. It is noted that not only representatives of the organizing universities, but also professors from other Russian universities took an active part in the creation of the course as lecturers. The authors give the students’ and lecturers’ evaluations of the course.
