Abstract

The microstructure, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of extruded pure Mg, Mg-2Y and Mg-2Gd were studied by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), scanning probe microscope (SPM), immersion test, electrochemical test and tensile test.
