Estimation of Pu239 partial fission cross sections between 5 and 30 MeV

Numerous measurements of ²³⁹Pu fission cross sections are available for incident neutron energies below 30 MeV. On the other hand, there are no measurements of partial fission cross sections. We propose, in this paper, to give an estimate of these cross sections between 5 and 30 MeV from measurements and calculations of prompt fission neutron spectra and multiplicities. These new cross sections provide a better description of experimental prompt neutron data.
