Interrelation of Meaning-of-Life Considerations and Value Orientations in Adolescents

The paper raises an issue that may be considered a staple of Russia’s society, that is, how meaning-of-life considerations interrelate with value orientations. The author considers the features and conditions of the formation of meaning and value orientations, and analyzes the category of value in philosophy and psychology. The paper presents a study of the value orientations and meaning-of-life considerations of high school students in Barnaul. As a result, the study reveals reliable connections between the two notions.
