Let (π π ) πβ₯0 and (π π ) πβ₯0 be the Pell and PellβLucas sequences. Let π be a positive integer such that π β₯ 2. In this paper, we prove that the following two Diophantine equations π π = π π π π + π π and π π = π π π π + π π with π, the number of digits of π π or π π in base π, have only finitely many solutions in nonnegative integers (π, π, π, π, π). Also, we explicitly determine these solutions in cases 2 β€ π β€ 10.
