Frequency sweeping interference is one of the most common forms of interference for pseudo-random code short-range detection radar, which will greatly reduce the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the target output. In this paper, a novel framework is proposed for frequency sweeping interference suppression. The radar echo data is transformed into the time-frequency domain by using fourier synchrosqueezed transform (FSST). Then the wavelet transform (WT) is utilized to detect and suppress the interference in the time-frequency plane. By using FSST, better time-frequency concentration can be achieved, and the wavelet domain interference suppression plays a better role in preserving the useful echo data energy compared with frequency domain notch processing. Therefore, better target detection results can be acquired. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
