Analysis of Factors Determining The Success of Cultivating Swallow's Nests to Increase Selling Value

Indonesia is known as the world's largest supplier of swallow's nests and began cultivating swallow's nests from 1980 until now. This SWOT analysis uses the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) matrix calculation containing various strength and threat factors, as well as the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix which shows opportunity and threat factors. In this research, the weights of strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities were obtained, respectively for swiftlet headquarters and swiftlet farmers. For swallowtails, the strength is 0.50, the weakness is 0.50. Chance 0.50 , threat 0.50. For the IFE matrix, the total score was 1.79, while for the EFE matrix, the score was 1.95. For swiftlet farmers, the strength weights were 0.49, weaknesses 0.51, opportunities 0.55, threats 0.45. Meanwhile, the IFE obtained was 1.71 and the EFE score was 1.74.
