Acute myocardial infarction is one of the main diseases in Brazil, affecting between 300,000 and 400,000 people a year and being a significant cause of mortality. It is a condition that can appear suddenly or develop gradually from angina, often resulting in death if not treated in time. Although specific measures, such as the Acute Myocardial Infarction Care Line, have been implemented by the Ministry of Health to improve the emergency response, and despite prevention and health promotion campaigns via social media, government websites and digital channels, the effectiveness of these measures remains questionable. Acute myocardial infarction remains the leading cause of death in the country, indicating the need to evaluate the relationship between these digital platforms and their effectiveness in promoting and preventing the disease.
