First record of the adeliine genus Paradelius de Saeger, 1942 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from India with the description of two new species

Abstract

The chelonine tribe Adeliini is one of the least studied groups in the family Braconidae. Here we report the distribution range of the genus Paradelius from the Indian subcontinent for the first time. We descibe two new species, P. flavus Ranjith and P. striatus Ranjith from south India. A taxonomic key to the descirbed species of Paradelius is given.
