The article describes the mechanisms of electronic interaction of the notary with public authorities, analyzes judicial practice on the liability of notaries for property damage caused as a result of insuffi cient verifi cation of the identity and documents of persons who applied for notarial actions, considers the possibilities of protecting the rights of participants in civil turnover through the use of various digital tools in the notary
