In some sparsely populated areas with scattered power loads, there is little investment in the construction of distribution network lines, and the construction progress cannot keep up with the growth rate of population and load, and the low-voltage phenomenon at the end of the distribution network is particularly serious, and even leads to some power loads being difficult to work normally. This paper aims to provide a method of installing capacitors to alleviate the low voltage problem of distribution network lines in some areas, and introduces a low voltage compensation case of long feeder terminal based on distributed shunt compensation. In the same distribution network line, two or more sets of parallel compensation capacitors are installed in a decentralized arrangement to alleviate the low voltage problem at the end of the long line of the distribution network. The proposed method is simulated with a 10kV feeder to verify its correctness and effectiveness.
