Prenatal exposure to second‐generation antipsychotics (SGAs) did not increase risk of adverse childhood developmental or behavioral outcomes compared with antipsychotic‐unexposed children, a study examining preschool‐aged children has found. This was one of the largest studies to date that examined neurobehavioral outcomes in children exposed prenatally to SGAs, the investigators reported.
