This research aimed to determine the Head Loss in Sudden Contraction pipes using acrylic tubes with diameters of 0.2D, 0.4D, and 0.6D and specimen comparisons of 1, 2, and 3. By analyzing the Head Loss in these three pipes, the pressure loss can be evaluated. A discharge of 0.0005 m³/s was used in the experiment, flowing through the channel. The pressure at the inlet side (D1) and the outlet side (D2) of the Sudden Contraction pipe was measured using a U manometer. Head Loss was calculated based on the pressure difference in each flow for each aspect ratio. The results showed that as the aspect ratio increased, the Head Loss decreased: 0.0043 meters for the 0.2D aspect ratio, 0.0014 meters for the 0.4D aspect ratio, and 0.0003 meters for the 0.6D aspect ratio.
