Signal transformation processes and the properties of the radiation pattern in a frequency diversity antenna array are investigated. The application of a symmetrical frequency plan is considered, including increasing and decreasing frequency variation options for elements to improve the directional pattern. The analysis of symmetrical logarithmic and sinusoidal plans is carried out to reduce the influence of the periodicity of the main lobes in the localization of targets.
