The paper presents a luminescent acousto-optic imaging spectrometer of the UV spectral range based on a non-collinear acousto-optic tunable filter made of crystalline quartz. This imaging spectrometer is designed for recording spectral images of flat objects which luminesce in the spectral range from 330 up to 400 nm. An original LED illuminator designed to luminescence excitation is presented. The advantages of a telecentric optical system for working with an acousto-optic tunable filter are shown. Features of the design of acousto-optic imaging spectrometers in the UV spectral range are analyzed. The developed imaging spectrometer has high image quality but has an extremely low luminosity and a complex engineering design.
