Pos1452-Pare Results of the First Online Survey of the Chilean Network of Rheumatic Patients

Background: This article presents the results of the first online survey conducted by the Chilean Network of Rheumatic Patients, in collaboration with various organizations and experts. The main objective is to characterize the experience of individuals with rheumatic diseases in Chile. Methods: The national survey, conducted over three months, covered patients from Arica to Punta Arenas. Statistical analysis focused on a comprehensive exploratory approach, identifying patterns and emerging trends in the collected information. Results: A total of 1159 rheumatic patients nationwide participated in the survey, providing valuable information on their sociodemographic characteristics and key aspects of health perception and patient-reported experience. Emphasizing adaptable strategies to tackle work inactivity and improve overall quality of life is vital. Advocacy for formal social support tailored to identified needs from a patient and gender perspective is crucial. In summary, the study underscores the complexity of rheumatic conditions in Chile, urging comprehensive strategies in the socio-health system for enhanced self-management and better quality of life.
