Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy In article number 2308724, Xi Shen, Xiufeng Han, Richeng Yu, and co-workers proposed a strategy for enhancing perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in yttrium iron garnet (YIG) films with only a tiny lattice mismatch by slight oxygen deficiency, which theoretically originates from the reduction of saturation magnetization and the increase of magnetostriction coefficient. This strategy improves the flexibility for the practical applications of YIG-based magnonic devices.
