Development of a Standard Solution Method of High-Performance Facades for Practical Thermal Load Simulation

From a global warming perspective, energy-saving performance of building facades is required. Therefore, a practical thermal load simulation model is needed to evaluate various facades in the mechanical design works. This paper proposes a standard solution for the thermal performance of various façades consisting of glazing, shading devices, and airflow cavities using NewHASP, the ventilation network program, and Radiance. We have clarified the thermal load performance of double-skin, airflow window, airflow screen, and push-pull windows.
