This article aims to discuss strategies for strengthening Natuna Malay identity in the context of the Maritime Axis. This research uses a qualitative approach and is library research. Data was collected through documentation techniques, and analyzed using content analysis, as well as induction and deduction methods. The research results show that culture-based tourism is an effective tool to strengthen the local economy and elevate Natuna's cultural riches on the world stage. The results of this research also emphasize the importance of integrating local history and culture education in the school curriculum, to increase the younger generation's awareness and appreciation of their cultural heritage. Regional and international cooperation, especially with institutions such as UNESCO, is very important to gain global support and recognition in preserving culture as a Natuna Malay identity. This collaboration is expected to provide technical and financial benefits that will support broader cultural preservation and promotion initiatives. The proposed policy recommendations include improving tourism infrastructure, developing cultural education and training programs, and empowering the local economy through support for culture-based creative industries. It is hoped that with the implementation of this strategy, Natuna's Malay identity will not only be maintained but also strengthened in a global context, in line with Indonesia's development as a maritime axis that utilizes its cultural riches as one of its main assets.
